Dzien Dobry - or good day from Poland. Arrived at the Gdansk airport which is in the North right on the Baltic Sea. Only had 1 hour sleep in 48. Have got a lot to do plus now on the broadband here so I can crack on with work. Flew with Ryan air for the first time. OK.

Well the day for the man Alan happened. The results were slightly strange. Starting in a chauffeur driven merc was just the tip of the iceberg. Put it this way, Mat and Danny Baldwin were there. Freak out

Compress - Quicktime !!

After a lot of faffing found a wicked free program that will convert .MOV or quicktime movies in to AVI's so you can import in to movie maker and then compress. Check out this article for full info. I found only the Indeo conversion could be imported into movie maker but seemed fine so no worries.

That means I can now show you how the young receptionist plys his trade down the range - bring it on.

Golf, Flickr and Youtube

Check out my flickr site and also my youtube site. Not quite sure how you get the RSS Feeds from youtube though. I've done it before but now can't remember. Also got a movie in quick time that I want to compress to put up on you tube but can't find any free compression.

Golf at Stonelees was crazy as usual. Magda and Andrea joined us. Got very excited when the cow did it's thing.

Welcome

Day One - Just after New Year. Been good. Walking to Mothers house on Christmas Day (about 10 miles) and then on to the old mans for Boxing day (about 8 miles). A stroll on New Years day to Chartham rounded off a good break with lots of fresh air.

So back to the 'Salon' until we find this really good outgoing/friendly person who can fill the role.

Been down the gym a lot both before and after the break. Lots of swimming too so feeling healthy. This needs to continue as we have a couple of adventures planned, one at least which will happen this year. For previous adventure take a look at lejog.
